Web Accessibility Statement

Here at IDM, we are committed to making our website accessible to all users. To make the site more accessible, we use inclusive design practices and follow standards set forth by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). Our policy references 1 Texas Administrative Code, Chapter 206, Subchapter C, Rule 206.70 (TAC 206.70) for accessibility compliance guidance.

Through training programs, accessibility checklists, and testing, we have processes in place to publish accessible documents, videos, or interaction. We understand that keeping content accessible is part of the regular site maintenance. To improve the accessibility of our site, we test any major redesign with assistive technology devices and various tools for site validation. The results of these reviews are incorporated before content is published.

Why is Digital Accessibility Important?

Digital accessibility refers to the inclusive practice of designing and building technology that removes barriers for people with disabilities that prevent interaction with or access to websites, digital tools, and technologies. Digital tools and technologies include electronic and information resources (EIR) and information and communications technology (ICT).
